4,775 miles clocked up by this cast iron beauty, on it's journey from Shropshire to Portland!
Richard's company restores historic buildings in the Pacific Northwest of the United States. This is his personal home, and him smiling in the picture. A real sense of achievement on his face as he is cooking for a crew of 40 people! The kitchen was in progress in this pic, as was the house here...
Richard takes care to restore all historic elements. Similar to our ethos here at Blake and Bull, on a much smaller scale! Thank you for sharing Richard! I adore the bay window, I could just picture myself sat in the curve with a book! Booking my ticket now... 😉
We had another super e-mail this week too from our American customer, Denise. Her range cooker has 3,468 miles to its name, a little bit closer but still quite a journey!
This fab pic is of Denise and her partner from Milton, USA, stood proudly next to their 1993 range cooker on the day that they had it installed in October of this year.
And WOW! Here it is now, in Denise's own words, she "had a lot of fun 'accessorizing' it! And we think it has worked! We Love it!
Our Search for the farthest-flung cooker continues, maybe something antipodean next time? Watch this space..
