We were so pleased to hear from Elizabeth and Peter not long ago, who we received an update from following our visit to their beautiful home earlier this year, where we had converted and re-enamelled their 4 oven Pre 1974 Aga range cooker.
“We’ve now spent a few months getting used to the versatility of the Electrikit Aga and we love it. We’re sure that as winter bites we’ll use it more like our traditional, oil-fired comforter. But it has been super to be able to just switch all or some of it off when we knew we didn’t need it.”
The range cooker was dismantled and rebuilt in its new home, with a brand new Electrikit internal that transformed the inner workings of this once oil fired cooker. But that wasn’t all, as they also had the 4 oven range cooker re-enamelled to ‘Pearl Grey’.
The final decision for the new enamel came after much deliberation, but ‘Pearl Grey’ turned out to be the only real option to match their new deVOL kitchen, that was due to be fully completed later in the year.
When our on-site team left the beautiful 300 year old house, the kitchen was still in the process of being fully renovated. However, if the latest images we’ve received are anything to go by, their new kitchen has been beautifully finished, and their ‘like new’ range cooker fits perfectly.
