If your hotplate (left hand spot) is rusted, pitted and pans won't sit flat then this is unsightly but also an efficiency problem. Aga range cookers rely on contact to transmit the heat effectively and a bumpy hot plate makes things take longer on the hob meaning the lids are up for longer and fuel use drastically increases. These replacement hot spots, refurbished original parts, just drop into where the old one sat. They weigh around 30kg so it's an easy enough job - just watch your fingers! Only suitable for 30amp (MK3) or 13Amp EC3 models. NOT for Oil, Gas or Solid Fuel Aga range cookers.
