If your hotplate (left hand spot) is rusted, pitted and pans won't sit flat then this is unsightly but also an efficiency problem. Aga range cookers rely on contact to transmit the heat effectively and a bumpy hot plate makes things take longer on the hob meaning the lids are up for longer and fuel use drastically increases. These replacement hot spots, refurbished original parts, just drop into where the old one sat. They weigh around 30kg so it's an easy enough job - just watch your fingers! Only for 13amp EC or EE electric, oil or gas (factory built or converted from solid fuel), NOT for cookers still on solid fuel, 30 Amp or EC3 13Amp
