The extra large dial is for easy reading, the stainless steel casing for durability and easy cleaning and the large base makes it easy to sit on the shelves. It measures 9cm high by 7cm wide.
The thermometer precisely measures the heat from 50 -300 C / 100-600 F and can be popped into hot ovens with no problems. We recommend that it is not left in range cookers all the time (10 minutes is normally more than enough to obtain an accurate reading) as the radiant heat can be a little much!
