Aga Range Cooker Badge Melted?
Has your Aga range cooker badge melted? Don't panic, this is very common! You have two solutions (other than replacing it which is a pain of a job as you have to remove the hob and a lot of insulation).
- Option 1 is to remove all the remaining black. Carefully use a razor blade and wire wool to scrape and remove the paint back to the shiny metal surface. Some people actually prefer this shiny satin finish to the original!
- Option 2 is to remove only the slumped/melted paint from the raised letter surfaces and the rim of the badge. When these are revealed you won't notice the melted sections of black between them.
