Can you Paint an Aga Range Cooker to Change Colour?

Ok I'm afraid if you want to know if you can paint an Aga range cooker's colour the blunt answer is no! I mean you can physically do it. If you choose a high temperature paint it won't even burn off.

Sadly though it will look terrible (trust me I've seen it!) and worse than that you can never, ever, clean it! The paint you use will scratch off if you scrub it and dissolve off if you use chemicals.

I've cleaned painted Aga range cooker's before and been quite convinced they looked worse after than before! 

Enamelling things is hard and expensive but range cookers are enamelled because it's the best thing for the job - there are no shortcuts I'm afraid!
